Move motorcycles is a motorcycle delivery company, specialising in long distances, we collect and deliver hundreds of motorcycles per month all over the United Kingdom on behalf of motorcycle dealers and manufacturers including CCM, BMW, Ducati, Honda, Harley Davidson, Indian, Kawasaki, KTM, Triumph, and Yamaha. We are also have a nationwide contract to deliver new BMW motorcycles for the Police fleet.

“Move” is a family business has a fleet of 5 Iveco daily extra-long wheelbase vans which are all fitted with fixed extra wide long loading ramps, wheel chocks, memory foamed internal sides and electric winches.

Our owner has been in the motorcycle trade since 1985 and bought his first van in 1988 he has a wealth of knowledge in this field and is 100% customer focussed, this passion for motorcycles is also reflected across the rest of our team as all our drivers are experienced motorcyclists who love bikes and want to give exceptional service to our customers.

Looking to get a bike collected?

We can help, we have a fleet of vans based located nationwide and collect motorcycles from private sellers and dealers on a daily basis.

Something to bear in mind
We don’t move garden gates, wardrobes, beds and concrete great danes with your motorcycle like some man with a van type companies.

Buying a bike from a private seller
We give you peace of mind by offering a service where you pay the seller when we have seen the bike, and our driver is one site ready to load it up. You may have already paid a deposit to the seller or maybe you want to know if we go to the location if this is the case just ask for a quote.

Will my bike be insured?
We have £150.000 vehicles in transit insurance cover per van with hire with reward cover, which is essential in our line of business, beware some couriers may be cheaper but offer goods in transit does not cover motorcycles in transit.

Where will my bike be kept?
Most of our jobs are long distance in this case once the bike has been collected it will be unloaded at our depot and await transfer to different driver and van for delivery.

Documents & Paperwork
The logbook and service history usually travel with the bike in an envelope or folder provided by the seller, keys travel in the ignition so they don’t get lost.

Parts & Accessories
Parts and accessories can travel with your bike, but they must be wrapped, or boxed and labelled to prevent damage and make sure they arrive with your bike.

We take pictures
We take photo’s of all bikes upon collection and delivery to prove condition and put your mind at rest.

How do you secure bike in transit?
We transport your bike in a van secured in a purpose-built wheel chock which holds the machine upright, we use lightweight tie down straps to hold your bike in place.

How do I pay for my delivery?
You will be invoiced after collection.

Motorcycle removals and storage
We collect your motorcycles before you move and transport them to our secure storage facility where they will remain until you're ready to receive them. depending on the time storage required we charge, daily or weekly, we have very sensible rates for short term motorcycle storage.

Worldwide motorcycle shipping
We have delivery partners who offer for packing your motorcycle in preparation for global shipping and they arrange any paperwork required, ask for more information.

Fixed rates
Once we have a feel for the volume of business and the type of bikes you sell we may offer you a fixed rate for long distance delivery UK and a separate rate for Scotland, this makes it easy for you to quote customers quickly and hopefully close sales quicker.

We have a state-of-the-art online booking system, and we communicate with you and the receiver at every stage of the delivery process to make sure all goes well.
